Our Promise

Every gift to KC Healing Hands Foundation is treated as a sacred trust. We commit to using your contribution responsibly, transparently, and in alignment with our mission to empower individuals and families through housing, outreach, mentorship, and community programs.

Tax Deductibility

KC Healing Hands Foundation operates as a nonprofit organization. To the extent allowed by U.S. law, donations may be tax-deductible. Donors should consult their tax advisor for advice specific to their situation. A donation receipt will be provided for every recorded gift.

How Gifts Are Used

Donations fund the everyday work of our programs and operations, including:

• Housing assistance and stability resources for individuals and families.
• Community outreach, food assistance, and resource navigation.
• Educational workshops, life skills training, and personal development programs.
• Youth mentorship and family support services.
• Cultural inclusion programming and community events.
• Reasonable administrative and operational costs that keep the work running.

Designated Gifts

You may choose to designate your gift to a specific program. We honor designations whenever feasible. If a designated program is fully funded or no longer active, we will contact the donor when possible — or apply the gift to the most closely related need.

Recurring Donations

Monthly or recurring gifts can be paused, reduced, increased, or canceled at any time by contacting us. Recurring donors receive a single annual giving summary for tax purposes.

Donation Receipts

An electronic receipt will be sent to the email address you provide at the time of your gift. If you donate by check or other offline means, a receipt will be mailed or emailed within 30 days.

Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error — for example, an incorrect amount, accidental recurring charge, or unauthorized gift — please contact us within 30 days of the transaction. We will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue.

Payment Security

All online donations are processed through secure, reputable third-party payment providers. KC Healing Hands does not store full credit card numbers on our systems.

Donor Privacy

We respect donor privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information. Donors may request to give anonymously or to opt out of public recognition at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Acknowledgment

Donors who agree to be publicly acknowledged may be recognized in our communications, annual reports, or donor walls. You can decline this at any time.

In-Kind & Non-Cash Gifts

We gratefully accept in-kind donations of goods and services that support our programs. Please contact us before sending in-kind gifts so we can confirm current needs and arrange delivery.

Stock, Planned & Major Gifts

We welcome conversations about gifts of stock, donor-advised fund distributions, bequests, and other planned giving arrangements. Reach out to discuss options that align with your goals.
