Accessibility Statement.
Inclusion isn't just a value we name — it's a standard we build toward, online and in person.

Our Commitment
KC Healing Hands Foundation is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that meaningful inclusion means making sure our work can be experienced and used by every member of our community.
Standards We Follow
We design and develop our website with the goal of meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Features We've Built In
- Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and labels.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive elements.
- High color contrast between text and background.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images.
- "Skip to main content" link for assistive technology users.
- Responsive design that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected for users sensitive to animation.
- Forms with clear labels, error messages, and helpful instructions.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time project — it's ongoing. We regularly review our site, test with assistive technologies, and improve as we learn. If something on our site doesn't work for you, we want to know.

Feedback Welcome
If you have suggestions on how we can do better, we welcome them. Inclusion grows through honest input from the community we serve.
